With state-of-the-art software, hardware and services for any type of network, Nokia is uniquely positioned to help communication service providers, governments, and large enterprises deliver on the promise of 5G, the Cloud and the Internet of Things.
Serving customers in over 100 countries, our research scientists and engineers continue to invent and accelerate new technologies that will increasingly transform the way people and things communicate and connect.
The Cyber Security team is responsible to protect Nokia critical data. We define the security operating procedures and the security baselines. We also define the security architecture in close cooperation with the Enterprise Architecture team.
The final accountability to protect data assets and accept security risks is with the data owner in the business. The Cyber Security team provides support to them to achieve compliance and select suppliers, and architectures that are secure by design.
We assess proposed IT solutions, detect security gaps and issues, evaluate the risks for the company and propose solutions to mitigate or remediate those risks.
The Cyber Security team works closely together with the IT teams, and, participates in the governance of the IT suppliers. This to guarantee the quality of the security services that are delivered to Nokia.
Finally, as no environment is fully secure, the team also builds the proper security incident capabilities, based on big data analytics to collect and process security information from the entire Nokia environment. The team is also responsible for the resolution of these incidents, and, drives the subsequent remediation.
This role will act in an environment which is rapidly evolving from traditional IT to digital cloud-based. Developments are agile, in a variety of DevOps structures. So, an in depth understanding of these technologies and development methodologies is essential.
The team is looking for a IT Cyber Security Business Analyst.
Over the past years, Security has become more and more a key strategic asset for companies, in which they invest significantly to secure their core business. Hence, Nokia’s Cyber Security team mission is to assure that Nokia’s (sensitive) data is not stolen, erased or exposed through malicious actions. But, at the same time, the team needs to assure that employees still have the means to do their daily work in an effective way.
During 2019, Nokia’s Security Team further expands and invests in Cloud Security and Threat Hunting expertise, solutions and techniques. The main driver is twofold: (1) Nokia’s IT infrastructure is moving applications and data into the cloud in an accelerated way, and, (2) Nokia’s Security team is dealing with an increasing volume of data providing very detailed insights into user and network activities. This evolution increases the need for in-house expertise to define the target cloud security architecture and associated cloud security controls to properly protect and govern Nokia’s key assets and data in the Cloud. At the same time, Security Analytics tools in combination with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques allow to create the right level of intelligence around these user and network activities. Having the in-house expertise to consume this information in an intelligent way allows the Security team to become more pro-active in their security response techniques and even go and hunt after emerging security threats across Nokia’s network.
