Descrição da função
  • Prepare drafts of documents based on certain standard forms in the English language (i.e., Operating License Agreements, Franchise Agreements, Consents/Approvals and other written communications, etc.);
  • Assist and support transactions, including transaction closings and post-closing follow-up;
  • Arrange translation, notarization and apostilling of documents as required;
  • Maintenance of corporate records;
  • Organize and maintain documents in a paper and electronic filing system, including the proper retention and filing of originals;
  • Participate in database projects relating to global/regional standards, policies, templates and procedures;
  • Track documents sent to/by stakeholders (i.e., contracts, letters, etc.);
  • Collate and coordinate completion of various periodic reports, including Monthly legal reports and Quarterly Litigation Due-Diligence and Sub-certifications;
  • Virtual meetings among team members located in multiple locations and time zones, including scheduling and communications relating to the same, coordination with guest speakers, preparation and distribution of meeting agenda;
  • Be familiar with invoicing/payment system and budgeting online tool;
  • Process invoices for payment;
  • Verify expenses claimed on vendor invoices against receipts.

Aptidões necessárias
  • Excellent academic qualifications in the legal field (e.g. a diploma in law from a recognized institute of higher learning; Law degree from a recognized university etc.);
  • Minimum of 2-3 Years prior experience as a paralegal in a Law Firm or in a corporate in-house Legal Department;
  • Proven ability managing a busy calendar and working with multiple stakeholders;
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) - mandatory;
  • Demonstrates professional integrity. Exercises good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information;
  • Maintains knowledge of appropriate software packages
  • Communicates information effectively clearly and concisely;
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude at all times;
  • Goes above and beyond to accomplish critical or difficult tasks;
  • Finds ways to incorporate others' best thinking into solutions;
  • Sets high-performance standards with clear expectations for self and others.
